Gaining an academic education is difficult in Liberia ... CRI is making a difference!

Getting a good academic education in Liberia is very difficult. While things are improving each year, government schools are still not very common … and too often poorly supported. Things are particularly challenging in rural areas.

Students in a rural elementary class

CRI has been dedicated to improving religious and academic education opportunities for our Kids and our neighbors’ Kids. It has been a difficult journey, but today we are blessed to have so many qualified and dedicated Teachers. They are led by very talented and dedicated Administrators who ensure we have a strong curriculum, supporting resources, and good class organization. And they are supported by several talented and dedicated US based Education Team and Facilities Team members.

Working together, the Kids are being encouraged and prepared to accomplish incredible things in Jesus name! What a blessing it was to learn that 42 out of 44 of our Students (who sat for the West African Education Counsel’s standardized exam) this past year passed!!!

And for the 2026-27 School Year, we have 448 Students enrolled … 37 of our CRI Kids and 411 Kids from the community! While we still have a long ways to go to meet our goal of offering top notch facilities and educational resources … we are committed to making improvements every year.

Thank you for praying for our Administrators, Teachers, and Kids … and thank you for your continuing gifts. You are supporting improvements in our School and you are investing in these promising young people who will be building a brighter future for Liberia!!!
